UST Welcomes Technovation Society as Newest Accredited Student Organization
by Alexandra Palanog
[1 min read] — Technovation Society becomes UST’s first innovation-centered USO, dedicated to empowering Thomasians in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Last September 25, 2025, the Technovation Society received its certificate of accreditation, officially joining the roster of recognized student organizations at the University of Santo Tomas.
The accreditation was awarded during the Opening Mass and Oath-Taking of Recruitment 101, organized by the Student Organization Coordinating Council (SOCC) and university-wide councils at the Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Chapel.
As the only UST organization focused on innovation, hackathons, technopreneurship, and venture creation, Technovation Society operates through four divisions: Technical Development, Visual Design, Marketing Analytics, and Research & Applied Expertise. Its mission is to develop entrepreneurial leaders through hands-on projects and real-world challenges, guided by Christian values.
This recognition affirms Technovation Society’s commitment to leadership and active student involvement. Accreditation also opens opportunities for institutional support, partnerships, and projects that aim to empower Thomasians to create meaningful solutions.
With this milestone, Technovation Society steps into UST’s circle of accredited organizations, ready to foster innovation and collaboration within the Thomasian community.
